The plural of dwarf is dwarfs or dwarves.
dwarf: a small legendary manlike being who is usually misshapen and ugly and skilled as a craftsman
The singular of dwarf is dwarf. The plural of dwarf is correctly dwarves or less commonly and in my opinion wrongly dwarfs.
Dwarves in folklore are usually described as old men with long beards.
In mythology, dwarves are often also described as short and ugly.
